Rooted in Creativity.
Rising in Community.
Spanglish Voces Inc. was founded to uplift and nurture the artistic voices of emerging writers, poets, musicians, actors, and visual artists in communities historically excluded from institutional arts spaces. We exist to bridge the gap between untapped talent and the platforms they deserve. Through mentorship, education, and opportunity, we cultivate the next generation of creators who will not only shape their craft, but also enrich and strengthen their communities.
We carry out our mission by:
Providing individualized mentorship and artistic guidance
Hosting workshops and technical training in various creative disciplines
Offering scholarships and internship opportunities to aspiring artists
Connecting artists with career pathways in arts and cultural industries
Beyond training and support, we champion the creative works of local artists through dynamic events—readings, theater, concerts—and amplify their voices across our digital platforms, including our magazine, which features writers and artists from the U.S., South America, the Caribbean, and Europe.
Spanglish Voces is more than an arts organization—it is a movement rooted in justice, creativity, and the power of community. We use the arts not only as a mirror, but as a tool—for healing, for growth, and for dismantling the barriers that limit who gets to be seen and heard.
